This 1969 Mustang Convertible with 351 Cleveland engine is an original California classic car. This is a two owner car in overall very good condition. The current owner purchased this car from the original owner in 1985. Since owning this classic he has spent over $10,000 in restoration costs. This restoration includes engine and transmission rebuild by Drag master of San Diego and a $2,000 white paint job (original color was blue) . This car has always been garaged . Overall this vehicle would be considered a great driver between #2 and #3 condition. Paint, chrome, and interior are all in very good condition. This is a no reserve auction. We have used the NADA guide to value this vehicle. We are starting the bidding at half the vehicles value as stated by the NADA. Read below for more information on this southern California classic. The body and frame are both straight and in excellent condition. The paint is a acrylic enamel and in excellent condition and was painted in 1986 at a cost of $2,000 (no scratches or dings only a couple small chips). The color of the vehicle prior to painting was blue. Body work done to the car prior to paint included repair of the rear quarter panels to remove surface rust. All body trim, emblems and chrome bumpers are in excellent condition. The frame and underbody are rust free rust. The front suspension is new Floor panels in the trunk and interior compartment are all rust free and solid. Overall the paint body and frame are in good condition with only minor imperfections. The soft top is also in good condition and is black. One seam has recently been repaired.
